Escape to the luxurious Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail, a mountain retreat nestled at the base of Vail Mountain. This upscale destination offers elegant accommodations and unparalleled service, perfect for those seeking both relaxation and adventure. Guests can indulge in the award-winning spa, enjoy fine dining, and experience world-class skiing just steps from the hotel.
The Four Seasons Vail consistently receives high praise for its exceptional service, luxurious accommodations, and stunning location. Guests rave about the attentive staff, from valet to housekeeping, as well as the upscale amenities such as the spa, pool, and acclaimed restaurants. However, some reviews highlight concerns regarding food costs and occasional service inconsistencies.
The hot chocolate at Four Seasons was absolutely amazing! It’s easy to see why it’s considered one of the world’s best hot chocolates. Rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced, every sip was a treat. Highly recommended for anyone with a sweet tooth!
BEWARE???? The food is REALLY REALLY REALLY EXPENSIVE and honestly not that good. There were only two restaurants open when we were there and places in the village were not open yet. We stay at nice places all the time and while we don’t mind paying for good food, the two restaurants were not it. Over $30 for a burger and also over $30 for a poke bowl (not worth it…very little tuna). 3 meals a day and we spent $100 more or less. Yes, this is the Four Seasons (we’ve been to a few) and by far this one was the most expensive one to date (food wise). The spa is wonderful (free use of the spa amenities as a guest) and the pool is nice but lots of kids. Not the place you want if you want peace and quiet. Also, when staying at a Four Seasons, you expect a little more service. It’s about the little touches and there were none. Being our first time in Vail and at the Four Seasons, they didn’t do anything special (in room amenities). They did leave two very small dog biscuits (we brought our dog). No mention about the complementary amenities or services. Nothing. I had to ask about it (s’mores). I personally like the service and attention to details better at the Four Seasons in Denver (better bang for your buck too).
Our stay at the Four Seasons Vail was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. I cannot recommend this property highly enough! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was unmatched. Every single staff member we encountered across the property was incredibly friendly, kind, and genuinely attentive. The valet team kicked off our trip with amazing service, and that level of care continued through every interaction. The property itself is beautiful—impeccably clean, warm, and highly inviting. Our room felt beautifully upgraded, luxurious, yet incredibly cozy, making it the perfect mountain sanctuary to return to each day. Housekeeping deserves a special shoutout for doing an absolutely flawless job keeping everything pristine throughout our stay. We also spent time taking advantage of the spa amenities, which were wonderful and a major highlight of our trip. What truly blew us away, though, was their attention to detail and proactive care. We had a really difficult time adjusting to the mountain altitude, and the staff went completely above and beyond by sending an altitude kit right up to our room to help ease our symptoms. That level of thoughtfulness is exactly why the Four Seasons stands out. We had an unforgettable time and will 100% be recommending this hotel to anyone visiting Vail. We can't wait to come back!
Absolutely wonderful stay. Kindest staff, going above and beyond. Had a departure before on-site boutique opened, and they opened early so I could pickup an item, for example. Fabulous food at Remedy & Tavernetta, and our room was a dream. Facilities - pool, gym, spa, common areas - were also a delight. Stay here!
I’ve stayed at Four Seasons hotels before and other luxury brands but this has to be the best experience I’ve ever had. Rooms were spacious and luxurious. The Remedy Bar had the best chocolate martini. I can’t even say enough about The Chalet. We ended up just hanging out in the lounge because of how beautiful it was. All that being said, the best part of the stay was the staff and service. Big shout out to the front desk manager, Argie, for making our stay! We brought our dogs which got hair on the bed and so they did full bedding changes twice a day. We asked why and they said “you aren’t allowed to sleep in a dirty bed…” The attention to detail and service was our favorite part. We will be back!
Omar at the front desk was the only reason I didn't give 1 star. He was so sweet, walked me to my room since the Hotel is a maze. We Struggled to find our room all weekend. Do not like the every 4 hour/mid day housekeeping service. They Moved all of our stuff around and reorganized the whole room like we were brand new guests.Thank you, but don't touch my stuff. We put the privacy please sign up and they still sent us messages to make sure we didn't want them to come. I guess that's what a 4 digit cost/night room gets you. Anybody other than Omar seemed to struggle to speak any english and I just could not understand a word any of them were saying. The auto lights or whatever the heck happens to the lights, When you leave the room for 2 minutes is incredibly annoying. You come back to a completely pitch black room. I will save this kind of hotel for the rich and fabulous. I am far from that.
Just went for the day. First time ever where I have been asked to change tables in the middle of eating my lunch because there was a pending reservation, even though I had a reservation. Made our group change seats to the back of the room behind the bar area. I did not see them ask the other people in the area to relocate. Food was ok 7/10. The server was nice and attentive but unfortunately that interaction changed the whole vibe for lunch. Need to improve how you treat your guests. The Spa services and staff were fantastic. Got a full body 80 min massage and Hydro facial treatment. Charmaine and Carol were excellent. Next time, will definitely visit the spa again. The Remedy, pass.
This review is specifically for the valet parking team. Particularly the guy with the beard, should treat customers better. Parking-related questions should be answered respectfully; the arrogance was totally unnecessary. On a separate note, The Remedy is a must-try place. The service inside was excellent and very enjoyable.
Had the pleasure of staying here for 10 days with my wife as a birthday/aniversary vacation. Despite an initial setback, our stay was excelent, and the staff were absolutely fantastic -- especially Argie and Philip who really went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was not only special, but also stress-free and memorable. They were very accomodating with us and we would love to vacation here again in the future.
I went for reserving a room however I decided to try the hot chocolate first. I have never experienced such hidden but racist behavior from anyone ever. Mercedes, one staff member wasn't allowing anyone with color to sit inside without reservations, even tho walk ins are welcome. She literally tried her best that people would just leave. Then we went to a small table as they could only accomodate us on the back. And we got our server whose name was Alexis. For the most part service was fine except when she tried to charge us more than what we ordered for and when we caught her, she said she charged us for water? I mean do better. why would I even stay at a place where having color on skin can get you racially profiled?
