Great location. Came for one night. Had to move rooms because the entire room had urine smell to the point I didnt want to breath. Got moved to a new room. Its definitely an old building. Service was helpful in moving to a new room. Overall, I won't stay here again. Got grossed out.

We arrived at 9:45 pm on Friday night and there was no one to check us in. We rang the bell, called out, called the phone number, and walked around looking for someone. 20 minutes later an employee appeared. No sorry or excuses, just asked how our night was going. The facility and rooms are dated, there is no air conditioning in the rooms (at least not ours) and we didn't have a shower curtain in our room (had to call the front desk, they brought one up quick). So, just an overall weird experience with a hotel/service. The location is great, the pool is fun, and the price is relatively affordable given it's Vail. I guess I just expect people at the front desk, air conditioning, and shower curtains at the hotels I stay at.

We enjoyed our stay at the Evergreen Lodge at Vail due to the friendly and accommodating services during our stay. Although summers can be a bit warm, even in the mountains, the Evergreen Lodge was able to make our stay a success and we really enjoyed the pool as well as access to all of the restaurants and shopping! Great place to take the family!

I was really disappointed with my stay at Evergreen Lodge at Vail. I paid about $300 after the pet fee, and the experience simply didn't match the price. Because I was traveling with my dog, I was placed in the pet-friendly hallway. Unfortunately, the dogs in the room next to mine barked continuously for over an hour. You could hear the barking throughout the entire hallway, so it wasn't just affecting my room. I contacted the front desk multiple times, gave them the room number, and reminded them that guests are required to leave a phone number so they can be contacted if their pet is causing a disturbance. Despite my repeated requests—and explaining that the barking was stressing my dog out—nothing was done. Each time I walked by the front desk, the employee was simply scrolling on his phone rather than addressing the issue, which made it seem like my concerns weren't being taken seriously. The next morning, the same front desk employee asked if the barking issue had been resolved. I told him it had not, and that the dogs were still barking when I checked out that morning. Again, nothing was done. It was disappointing that a disturbance lasting from the evening into the next morning was simply ignored. The room itself was also in rough shape. The wallpaper was peeling in places, the room felt very outdated, and the shower barely worked. For around $300, I expected a room that was much better maintained. The location is convenient, but between the poor condition of the room and the front desk's complete lack of response to a prolonged noise issue, I don't think the hotel offers good value for the price. I wouldn't choose to stay here again.

I can see why Evergreen has a solid 4-star rating. My first impression was that it was kind of shabby: the furniture and carpets are worn, and the bathroom looks like it belongs in a highway motel. But, I had an excellent stay. First, the location is great for skiing. It’s only a 10-min walk to the Lionshead Vail Square where you can board the Eagle Bahn gondola and Born Free Lift. (you could also take the free intown bus for 1 stop, which saves you about 5 minutes of walking but could be helpful if your feet/body are sore). The ticket office is there too, plus all of the village shops. Evergreen is considerably cheaper than the other ritzy hotels in Lionshead. The hotel has a terrific staff: everyone was courteous and helpful and friendly. They let me check out a little later because I had injured my wrist on the slopes. Even though it’s not a luxury hotel, it provides everything you need. My room with a king bed was spacious, with a balcony. They include continental breakfast. The mattress was firm and new, and the pillows were plump and cushy, so I had a great sleep. There is an Indian restaurant, a bar/restaurant, equipment rental, ski/board storage, swimming pool, hot tub, and exercise room. They consider the environment, so the bathroom heater is on a timer, and there is a water-filling station in the lobby. The hotel was packed, but it was not noisy since everyone is up early to ski.

If you care about safety and privacy. This is not the place for you. Gabriel the front desk assistant believes anyone can have access to anyone's room. It wasn't until I brought my kids safety and we'll being into the conversation did he even start to apologize. Booo this place and Gabriel

This place sucks. For $500 a night. It's a hold hotel. With zero staff training. I was allowed to check in by guessing the name the reservation was under. I guessed wrong 3 times. I was not on the room but was still given keys to both rooms on the reservation! Gaberial the front desk manger Tried to tell me it was my fault for asking the wrong name. Telling me privacy issues are not a thing here. When I asked for the general manager he told me he was the highest manager here. Even though Breta Butts and Richard Mejia are general managers l. My bathtub doesn't drain. So no shower. The rooms are hot. It's disappointing you can be so close to Vail mountain charge so much money and provide such a run down hotel.

This place is a pile of crap. Look at the thermostat and wonder where your $700 / night is going. This place just absolutely sucks. Oh, and space heaters. In EVERY room. For $700/night… And the best part, no hot water upstairs and a shower that dribbles water. For $700/night. Who ever owns this disgrace of a hotel has 0 respect for others peoples money. Oh wait! We have a great view of… the Hospital. The manager is a nice guy, the owner should have this abomination taken from him/her immediately. What a total ripoff

We really had a great time at this place. We directly came here to have food at the annapurna restaurant and had a lot of luggage. The reception staff was really kind to store our baggage while we had food. This is really beautiful place.

great value and convenience. The front desk and maintenance people are very helpful. Gabriel is a great person, helping me with hot water and other things several times, always nice and ready to help with everything. Definitely will back again!
