Sitztastic! This place just nails it. The location is amazing with easy parking. Seemed like this part of Vail was the destination for many, coming in on shuttle, etc. so it was nice to already be there. The building itself is incredible, recently renovated. Stop and look around when you get inside. Lots of cool artwork and touches throughout that pay homage to the history of the place. The rotating sign in the lobby is wonderful! The breakfast room was particularly good. Great rotating selection of healthy, delicious foods and juices. My gluten-intolerant bride was more than pleased. It seems like every little detail had been thought of. If it hadn’t been, someone was there to help. It was amazing. Can’t say enough good things about the staff, from the housekeeper who ran over to use her key card on my door when I had my hands full with aforementioned breakfast, to the owner Steve greeting us in the morning with a warm smile and friendly conversation. Truly a delightful experience. Would go back. Will go back.

Stayed here for four nights in March and cannot say enough nice things about this hotel. We were greeted with cocktails in our room, the rooftop pool and hot tub were fantastic, and fresh chocolate chip cookies were put out every afternoon. The breakfast was perfect for a day on the mountain, and the hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. And now let's talk about the location....there isn't a hotel more conveniently located in Vail than the Sitzmark. It is right by Pepis and Gondola 1, and next to Sweet Basil and Mountain Standard. Best location, best staff, best hotel...I will definitely be back!

This place is perfect! Breakfast is perfect to give everything you need for a fantastic start to your day. When you come back in the afternoon you are met with an inviting lounge area to grab a cocktail or a glass of wine. When you head back to the room the perfectly warmed cookies are a great touch to finish off your day. The rooms are excellent and big. Great views from the balconies. Perfectly situated in the middle of all the action. Brief walk to the slopes. Boot warmers and ski storage easily accessible. Staff is courteous and incredibly polite and helpful. Plus it’s amazing to bump into the owners of the hotel. This makes the entire experience perfect from start to finish.

I traveled there with my sons, age 18 & 20 in January. The Sitzmark was the absolute perfect spot for us to enjoy a long weekend in Vail. The room was spacious and very well appointed, with 2 queen beds and a comfortable pull out we all had our own space. We were greeted by a very friendly and helpful staff and pleasantly surprised by a bottle of wine and hand written welcome note in the room. Breakfast in the lobby was the perfect way to start the day and prepare us for full days of skiing. Warm cookies right out of the oven were a welcome treat at the end of the day! The location can’t be beat right in the heart of Vail Village, literally just steps from shopping, restaurants, nightlife and the gondola. I can’t say enough good things about the Sitzmark Vail! Can’t wait to go back!

I had an extremely disappointing experience with the Sitzmark Hotel in Vail. If this is the only review you read, please do not give this greedy establishment any money! I booked a stay months in advance and paid a $500 deposit. Unfortunately, my fiancé and I recently broke up and I can no longer afford this trip. I contacted the hotel well ahead of time to cancel and asked for my deposit back, but they refused — even though they will absolutely be able to rebook the room. Daniel, the manager, was rude and completely lacked any empathy for my situation. I also tried reaching out to the general manager, Ben, multiple times and he has refused to call me back or respond at all. This hotel is more concerned with greed than customer service. Life happens, and any reasonable business would work with a guest who is canceling months in advance due to unexpected personal hardship. I strongly advise people not to book here unless you’re willing to risk losing hundreds of dollars no matter what happens. *I’m adding an edit because they responded with “last-minute cancellations” I cancelled over two months in advance, and they’re already sold out for my dates. They’re wanting to keep my money and sell the room again. The consistent rudeness and disrespectful this hotel has given me during my grief should be an indicator of how you can expect to be treated by them if god forbid life hands you a horrible blow and this hotel was part of your plan..

Great hotel within a 5 min walking distance to the ski lift. It’s in the center of town and within 5min walking distance to the central bus terminal which you can take to get to Beavercreek, about a 20min bus ride. The rooms are spacious and clean. Excellent bathroom with good water pressure. Rooftop has a heated pool and hot tub. They have amazing afternoon cookies and really great pastries for breakfast.

We had a great experience at the Sitzmark Hotel. The property is cozy and welcoming, and the little touches made our stay even better — fresh cookies every day at 3 pm, continental breakfast included, and hot chocolate available all day. The highlight for me was definitely the bed. I’m not a fan of firm mattresses, so this one was perfect. The bed and blankets were so comfortable that it was honestly hard to get up in the morning. The service was another standout. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful, especially the two older gentlemen at the front desk — I wish I remembered their names because they were wonderful. Overall, a great stay with comfort and hospitality that really stood out.

My wife and I have nothing but good things to say about Sitzmark and their staff. Everyone was extremely welcoming, and the small, quaint building felt very inviting. Everything was clean and well kept, and we really enjoyed the hot tub and pool. The rooms were amazing and very comfortable. The only downside was parking. It’s $45 to park, which is just part of the area, but the garage itself is very narrow—our car nearly hit the ceiling—and there’s no elevator from the garage, so we had to carry our luggage up two flights of stairs. Overall, a very good experience and a place we would definitely recommend.

We had the most wonderful stay here! The rooms were clean, location is perfect, but the best part was the customer service!! Luis and the rest of the staff was so accommodating and made our stay feel so, so special. We will absolutely come back because of the service we received. Thanks for a great stay!

This is a warm cozy mountain hotel that offers ease of location and getting in and out. Every staff member went above and beyond ! You can book through Hilton as well ! The property is small enough to have an old school feel of staying in a sleepy mountain town with Vail mountains at your doorstep.
